Brow Henna
Brow Henna is a natural pigment derived from the henna plant, offering a tinting solution that stains both the skin and brow hairs. This service provides the deepest stain and most defined brows but can also be customized for a softer, more natural look depending on your preference. Whether you desire a dark and bold brow or a light and natural finish, the choice is yours! For clients travelling to humid or sunny destinations, opting for a darker tint ensures your brows last throughout your trip.
-
With proper aftercare, brow henna can stain the skin for 1 - 2 weeks and dye the brow hairs for 4 - 6 weeks. Since henna sits on the surface of the skin, frequent exposure to water, scrubbing, or oily products can cause the stain to fade more quickly. Clients with oily skin may notice the stain fading faster, so keeping brows dry is essential. Opting for a darker and bolder look can also extend the longevity, as the colour naturally lightens over 1 - 2 weeks. If you’re looking for a longer-lasting solution, consider Powder Ombré—a semi-permanent tattoo option.
-
Brow Henna contains PPD (paraphenylenediamine), a common ingredient in hair dyes, which may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. To ensure your safety, a complimentary patch test is highly recommended 1 - 3 days before your appointment. Allergic reactions can take 24 - 48 hours to appear, so this step helps minimize any potential discomfort or complications during your service.
-
• Avoid trimming or plucking your brows for at least 48 hours before your appointment.
• Refrain from using retinoids, acne medications, or AHA/BHAs within 48 hours of your service.
• If you are on Accutane, have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding, this service is NOT recommended without a prior patch test.
